TSUKUBA Science Edge
Tsukuba Science Edge is a contest that invites ideas from junior and senior high school students and presents them in front of real researchers. This is a project that allows children to experience “the joy of creating” and “the joy of discussing with real researchers” based on the criteria of originality, research methods, composition, feasibility, and presentation methods. We also aim to raise the level of “science and technology” by providing “development of future researchers” and “places of interest in science and technology at an early stage” in the field of science and technology. It is a big event that attracts over 1,600 junior and senior high school students from Japan and overseas.
Tsukuba Science Casting Science casting is aimed at junior and senior high school students and draws out interest in science and technology that cannot be touched in ordinary classes, and what they gained from actual experience of touching the atmosphere of actual research sites. The purpose of this is to make it an important experience by organizing it while discussing in groups, improving the skills of the presentation.
